9/7 Kow Kreek Kampground, Kremling Kolorado

After surviving the Stanley we pushed on into the wild. We took the Fall River Trail to Alpine Pass in RMNP. The dirt road to the top was scary at times with no guard rails and sheer 1000’ drops. We again did some hiking in the alpine but felt it was time to continue our trip into a new region of Colorado. The road was calling us.
We traveled south to Granby, then on to Kremmling, where we found a primitive campsite on a lake. We had the place to ourselves except for the coyotes.
